Hi!
My name is Catherine and I'm a mixed media artist based in Dublin, Ireland.
"Driftwood Beasties" are fantastical creatures that are made from materials gathered on beachcombing walks along Dublin Bay.
Three of them feature in Tír na nÓg art and literature magazine, Issue 1. Another was part of the National Comfort Blanket, a fundraising public art project by Pluid Project 2021, in aid of Pieta House.
